The Sioux County FFA Chapter was also chosen as “Club of the Month” in October. On October 22, the chapter started its way to North Platte, NE where they would hop on a bus and head all the way to Indianapolis, IN. While in Indy, the members got to experience many different things that they weren’t used to seeing back home in western Nebraska.

They got to blow glass, experience the Indy 500 at the Speedway, go inside of the RCA Dome where the Colts play, visit a newer horse stable, and of course go shopping. Next to all of that, they got to hear the retiring addresses of the national officers, hear what Henry Winkler and other inspiring speakers had to say about life, and they also got to watch some of the national talents. The Sioux County FFA Chapter is looking forward to a great holiday season full of fun community service activities and of course, Christmas caroling!
