Montana Direct Feeder Cattle Weighted Average

Compared to last week: Trading very slow this past week. Demand moderate to
good for feeder cattle. Buyers have suggested that pricing country cattle has
been difficult as most producers dislike current price levels. 100 percent over
600 lbs. 48 percent of this week's trade were steers; 52 percent heifers.
Unless otherwise stated, delivery is current, prices are fob the weigh point
with a straight weight to 3 percent shrink or equivalent with a 5-8 cent
slide on calves and a 3-6 cent slide on yearlings.
