Compared to last month: Bred heifers sold 50.00 to 100.00 higher. Bred
cows sold mostly steady to 50.00 higher. Buyer interest increased on bred
heifers and young cows. Heifers and cows aged, blood tested and pregnancy
checked prior to sale prices per head. The supply was comprised of
approximately 19 percent bred heifers, 21 percent young bred cows, 16 percent
middle age bred cows, 40 percent aged bred cows, balance open cows.
Replacement Stock: Medium and Large 1 Heifers 920-1270 lbs 4-7 months
bred 810.00-860.00; Young 1100-1345 lbs 4-7 months bred 800.00-975.00; Middle
Aged 1060-1680 lbs 3-6 months bred 725.00-830.00; Aged 1125-1765 lbs 4-7
months bred 620.00-685.00.
Medium and Large 1-2 Young 1150-1345 lbs 4-6 months bred 680.00-730.00;
Middle Aged 1120-1565 lbs 4-5 months bred 640.00-685.00; Aged 1135-1590 lbs
4-7 months bred 520.00-620.00, thin 430.00-510.00.
