Missouri Weekly Hay Summary - Week ending 01/02/2009
Holiday?s and poor weather slowed hay movement this past week. Weather
conditions have been less than favorable especially in the north part
of the state. Once ice and snow melted muddy conditions have made hay
movement and feeding difficult at best. Demand for most types of hay is
light, Supply moderate to heavy, and prices steady. The Missouri Department
of Agriculture has a hay hotline available for both buyers and sellers.
