Receipts: 141 2 Weeks Ago: 1751 Year Ago: NS
Compared with the last tested market from two weeks ago; too few
feeder steers and heifers for a test. Slaughter cows 3.00-4.00 higher.
Demand moderate and supply very light. Cows and bulls accounted for
42 percent of the run, and feeders 58 percent. In the feeder supply,
steers and bulls made up approximately 62 percent of the run; heifers
38 percent; steers and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 20 percent.
Feeder steers: Medium and Large 1-2 Few 500-600 lbs 98.00-103.25;
Pkg 634 lbs 99.25, Fleshy 692 lbs 87.25. Large 1-2 Pkg 653 lbs 92.00.
Medium 1-2 Few 300-400 lbs 105.00-107.00; Pkg 425 lbs 104.00;
Few 500-550 lbs 95.00-100.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 Pkg 360 lbs 96.00;
Few 500-600 lbs 85.00. Medium 1-2 Few 400-500 lbs 85.00; Pkg 533 lbs
