Oklahoma Combined Weekly Auction Summary.
Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for Week of 12/12-18/2008
***This will be the last report of the year as all sales will be closed
for the holidays. The next weighted average summary report will be out
the first full week of January, 2009.***
Receipts: 19,525 Last Week: 29,600 Last Year: 17,075
Combined weighted average report for Oklahoma auctions. 8 feeder
auctions this week including Oklahoma City, Tulsa, McAlester, El Reno,
Texhoma, Woodward, Ada, and Apache. Markets lightly tested towards the
end of the week. Sales of feeder cattle did show improvement as cattle
futures showed some improvement. Calf prices improved as well late in
the week. Wheat pasture still in need of moisture.
